We’re delighted to welcome you aboard Satya. To help everything run smoothly and keep everyone safe, we’ve set out our key terms below. By confirming your booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings & payment
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, major credit/debit cards (Visa/Mastercard), and cash in local currency at our office.
To reserve your dates, a deposit of 50% of the total charter fee is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 4 days before departure. For bookings made within 48 hours of departure, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation. A booking is not confirmed until payment is received.
Upon confirmation, we require the full name and passport number of every passenger, for port clearance 24 hours before departure — an Indonesian regulation for all professional boat operators.
2. Changes & cancellation
Please contact our coordinator as early as possible if you need to change or cancel. We’ll always do our best to accommodate you.
Weather & safety cancellations: if the Harbour Master, Port Authority or our Captain deems conditions unsafe, we will offer an alternative date or a credit voucher. If a trip must return early due to sudden weather, a credit voucher may be offered depending on how much of the trip was completed. Weather decisions are generally made at least 2 hours before departure.
Date changes: one free date change is permitted with at least 7 days’ notice, subject to availability. Date changes requested within 7 days of departure incur a fee of IDR 1,000,000.
Cancellation fees:
- More than 14 days before departure: full refund
- 14 to 7 days before: 50% of the total fee forfeited
- 7 to 4 days before: 70% of the total fee forfeited
- Less than 4 days before: 100% of the total fee forfeited
- Same-day cancellation or no-show: no refund
No refunds are given for early termination at the guest’s request (for example, seasickness) where conditions have been deemed safe. Guests are responsible for their own sea-readiness — we recommend taking motion-sickness medication 24 hours and again 2 hours before departure, and avoiding alcohol the day before.
3. Health, safety & conduct
- Guests should be in good physical health and able to swim and take part in water activities.
- We strongly recommend guests hold travel, health, accident and luggage insurance.
- Satya carries full safety equipment — liferaft, life jackets and more — and is crewed by a licensed, experienced captain and mate. Safety is always our first priority.
- We reserve the right to cancel or end a trip without refund if a guest’s behaviour or health compromises the safety or enjoyment of others.
- Baggage: up to 2 pieces of baggage and 2 surfboards (in bags) per person. We take great care but cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged property.
4. Force majeure
We are not liable for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond our control — including natural disasters, extreme weather, civil unrest, epidemics, pandemics or government restrictions. In such cases, bookings may be rescheduled or granted transferable credit valid for up to 24 months.
5. Prohibited items
For everyone’s safety, weapons, firearms, ammunition and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited on board. Any guest found in possession may be denied boarding or removed, and may face legal consequences.
By confirming your booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
